I’m back, and older than ever!

Its time to write about stupid things again, but not what I used to. There are no plans for reviews or news, just my experiance with getting my PSN account to 300 platinums by 2027. As it is almost the middle of January, let’s play some catching up.

LIFE IS STRANGE: BEFORE THE STORM REMASTER

Starting out on the journey that is “Life is Strange” for this year, I’m doing it in somewhat chronological order as this is a prequel to the first game and events here are heavily referenced in it. I’ve played the first game before and I do have all the trophies for that, but they made remasters of them, and that means new trophy lists. (Hell yeah.) There isn’t too much for me to say about this game. It’s a pretty straightforward, choice driven narrative. The trophies mostly revolve around drawing or adding graffiti to specific spots, most of which are optional. A guide is useful and not too full of spoilers.

HOME SAFTY HOTLINE

A fun little puzzle game. You play as an employee of a home warranty like business. You’ll get calls from customers that need help from things like bees, raccoons, and maybe one or two nightmares. It’s a good time. If you don’t get them all right the first time, don’t worry. The issues are not random. There are guides out there if you get lost (that last day is a doozy). I got the platinum on the PS5 version, and will soon obtain the PS4 one.

RATSHAKER

I like silly gimmicks as much as anyone else, but damn does this make me question how far can a joke or gimmick be taken. This is an easy game, but requires a lot of controller shaking and light puzzle solving. Oh, and while you’re shaking your controller, which again you will do a lot of, listening to the rat screaming. It’s oh so much… fun…
