If my dreams come true, God of War 3 will be out this year, but that is unlikely. So until it comes out I am going to quench my blood lust with the other God of War games.
To save time, I am just going to give you quick revews of them.
GOD OF WAR (PS2): The first and the greatest. The story line is more solid than the other two, and I'll get to why later, and the violence was over the top but somehow still tasteful. To me, it also seems epic beyond what GOW 2 and CoO offerd. God of War was a game that I could walk away from and be pleased about the game.
So, God of War gets: 9/10
GOD OF WAR 2 (PS2): Picking up where the first game left off, Kratos is the new god of war and, suprise suprise, he is a blood thirsty god of war. So, he gets his powers taken away and his quest beging to kill the one that took his powers. The story here isn't as solid. In this game (and following GoW games) titans are everywhere and Kratos is okay with this. In the first game when he saw Cronos, he was shocked to see a titan. But, small things are small things. The game is epic in it's own sense and is still really good. But, it does feel as if it goes on too long and and has bits of unnessesary violence. It's still a good game, but the first is still the best.
God of War 2 gets: 8/10
GOD OF WAR: CHAINS OF OLYMPUS (PSP): I mentiond that GoW 2 was a little long. Well, Chains is too short. As soon as you get all the power-ups (2 weapons and 3 magic abilitys) the game is pretty much over, and it's because it looks like a PS2 God of War game on your PSP. It looks fantastic. So, there just isn't room for a long game. But all the GoW extras are there (challange rooms, god mode, costumes...) and it helps bring the GoW expereance to a handheld. Dispite it being short, it's a must for PSP owners and God of War fans.
God of War: Chains of Olympus gets: 9/10

I don't really like he whole God Of War series for some reason. I have nothing to back this opinion up gamewise because you know I don't have the patience to play many video games. I just don't like games that seem like all you do is kill everything in your path. The ones where the main character was betrayed and now it's time for oh-so-bloody revenge.
So eh. Sorry I'm not more game savvy.
